The Cypress Flamepit

This shattered aspect of a trimmed cypress tree nearly leapt into my hand as I walked the shoreline bike path.

So much like a flame I thought it needed a flame pit.

With a bit of mahogany and some thin ply, the cypress flame soon had its eternal home.
