Likely this wooden job was my fathers, otherwise I wouldn’t have known about them. After cutting my logarithms on this venerable Dietzgen, I qualified for a (then) state-of-the-art Pickett.
They had long been calling for their righteous place amid the Impermanent Collection.
And so a display case was put into being.
Naturally, such a case can be made for your vintage 1980’s HP.
